Electrical safety
Warning! When using electric tools, basic safety
precautions should always be followed to reduce
the risk of fire, electric shock and personal injury.
Read all these instructions before attempting to
operate this product and save these instructions.
Always check that the voltage of the
power supply corresponds to the voltage
on the rating plate.
The machine is double insulated in
accordance with EN60745; therefore no
earth wire is required.
Replacing cables or plugs
If the replacement of the supply cord is necessary,
this has to be done by the manufacturer or his
agent in order to avoid a safety hazard.
Using extension cables
Only use an approved extension cable suitable
for the power input of the machine. The minimum
conductor size is 1.5 mm2. When using a cable
reel always unwind the reel completely.
3. ASSEMBLY (FIG. 1)
Before using, always visually inspect to
see that the blades, blade bolts and cutter
assembly are not worn or damaged.
•
Please keep power switched off and disconnect
the power supply. Replace worn or damaged
blades and bolts in sets to preserve balance.
• Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight to be sure
the equipment is in safe working condition.
Assembly off the handle:
1) Put handle through the cable hook.(1)
2) Insert the lower handles into the mower body
and tighten the fixed srews.
3) Connect the upper handle with the lower handle
with the supplied bolts and the knobs.(fig 4)
make sure the knobs are pointing inwards.
4) Fix the cable holders (7)
Assembly off the wheels:
Fit each axle trough the wheels into the hole of the
desired mowing height and secure tightly.(Fig. 2)
Assembly grass box:
1) To assemble the grass box, connect the two
halves by clicking the connectors in place.
2) Lift the flap and place the grass box cover the
lugs.(Fig. 6)
Cutting height adjustment (fig. 2)
To adjust the cutting height, remove the axle bolt
and the wheel, and mount at the desired height.
Always set all 4 wheels at the same height.
The lower the wheel is mounted, the higher the
cutting height will be.
Blade maintenance
•
Regularly remove grass and dirt from the blade.
• Regularly and carefully examine the condition
of the blade.
• If the blade is very blunt, sharpen or replace the
blade.
•
If the blade is damaged or worn, fit a new blade.
Warning! Observe the following
precautions: Disconnect the mower from
the mains and wait until the blade has
stopped turning before proceeding.
• When crossing surface other than grass, make
sure the lawn mower is tilted for transportation.
Lawn mower can only be tilted when blade has
completely stopped.
• Never operate the lawnmower with defective
guards, or without safety devices, for example
deflectors and/or grass catchers, in place.
• Replace worn or damaged parts for safety.
To replace a blade:
• Turn the mower on its side.
• Grip the blade with one hand. Be careful not to
cut yourself. Use heavy-duty gloves or cloth to
grip the blade.
• Use a 13mm wrench to loosen and remove the
blade bolt.
• Place the new blade with the flared tips
towards the machine.
• Put the bolt back in place and tighten the
blade bolt.
• Check if the blade is play free.
