• Løft maskinen op efter savningen og afbryd den derefter fra strømmen. Lad maskinen

køre lidt, hvis der er opstået lidt støv, indtil støvet er væk.

NB.: Sav altid i fremadrettet retning, træk aldrig saven bagud. Hvis du er begynder, bør du først

øve dig med savning af træ til du er blevet god til det.

Udsavning

• Indstil dybden, sæt stikket i stikkontakten og sæt derefter saven med metalbasispladen på

arbejdsemnet. Sørg for, at længdeindstillingen på beskyttelseskappen er i

overensstemmelse med begyndelsespunktet.

• Tænd maskinen og vent til saven kører med fuld hastighed. Tryk langsomt og forsigtigt,

men alligevel fast, saven ind i materialet. Skub derefter saven fremad langs savlinjen.

Træk aldrig saven bagud.

• Løft maskinen op efter savningen og afbryd den derefter fra strømmen. Lad maskinen

køre lidt, hvis der er opstået lidt støv, indtil støvet er væk.

• Tips til udsavning:

• Hvis det udsavede stykke senere skal beklædes, f.eks. af et ventilationsfilter, så kan

skæringerne overlappe hinanden i hjørnerne, hvormed det udsavede stykke

øjeblikkelig er løs.

• Hvis det udsavede stykke forbliver sigtbart, er det bedre ikke at overlappe. Fordi der

arbejdes med en rund savklinge, vil det udsavede stykke ikke være løst med det

samme. Hjørnerne skal afsluttes med en kniv. Hvis materialet er tyndt og udseendet

på bagsiden er irrelevant, kan det udsavede stykke trykkes ud.

• Hvis det er muligt at save på bagsiden, kan det stykke, der skal saves ud angives med

en overskæringsmargin. Stykket bliver så savet ud på bagsiden, så man får pæne

hjørner på forsiden. Du finder en skala med margins ved specifikationerne.

NB.: Ved nogle hårde materialer er det ikke muligt at save ud.

Savning i hårdt eller groft materiale

Pas på: Sav aldrig i materialer, der kan afgive giftige stoffer, som PTFE eller asbest.

Klingemateriale

• Indstil altid en savdybde, der er mindst en mm større end materialets tykkelse, så saven

ikke kører væk. Læg et stykke karton under pladen.

• Fjern ujævnheder og rust. De kan hindre savens fremgang.

• Hvis der smøres lidt bivoks eller møbelvoks på savens basisplade, lettes savningen af

materialet.

•Sav ikke i stål eller galvaniseret stål.

• Når du saver i metal, skal du holde pause hvert 2. minut.

Keramiske fliser og skifer

•Brug en hertil beregnet savklinge. Her er det nødvendigt at bruge en støvsuger, fordi det

afgivne støv kan hæmme beskyttelseskappens virkning.

Remove the plug from the plug socket immediately if the cable becomes damaged.

Also remove the plug during maintenance work.

Wear eye and ear protection

Keep bystanders at a safe distance from the saw.

Faulty and/or discarded electrical or electronic tools should be handed over to a

recognized collection point for disposal.

Danger

a) Keep hands away from cutting area and the blade. Keep your second hand on auxiliary

handle, or motor housing. If both hands are holding the saw, they cannot be cut by the

blade.

b) Do not reach underneath the workpiece. The guard cannot protect you from the blade

below the workpiece.

c) Adjust the cutting depth to the thickness of the workpiece. Less than a full tooth of the blade

teeth should be visible below the workpiece.

d) Never hold piece being cut in your hands or across your leg. Secure the workpiece to a

stable platform. It is important to support the work properly to minimize body exposure,

blade binding, or loss of control.

e) Hold power tool by insulated gripping surfaces when performing an operation where the

cutting tool may contact hidden wiring or its own cord. Contact with a "live" wire will also

make exposed metal parts of the power tool "live" and shock the operator.

f) When ripping always use a rip fence or straight edge guide. This improves the accuracy of

cut and reduces the chance of blade binding.

g) Always use blades with correct size and shape (diamond versus round) of arbour holes.

Blades that do not match the mounting hardware of the saw will run eccentrically, causing

loss of control.

h) Never use damaged or incorrect blade washers or bolt. The blade washers and bolt were

specially designed for your saw, for optimum performance and safety of operation.
