power tools that cannot be switched on and off.

i. Do not leave power tools unattended while they are switched on. Always switch off

the tool and wait until it has come to a full standstill before leaving.

j. If the mains cable has been damaged, it must be replaced with a special mains cable.

These can be obtained from the manufacturer or the manufacturer's customer service

department. The mains cable may only be replaced by the manufacturer, the manu-

facturer's customer service department or equally qualified persons.

5) Battery tool use and care

a. Ensure the switch is in the off position before inserting battery pack. Inserting the bat-

tery pack into power tools that have the switch on invites accidents.

b. Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suita-

ble for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another bat-

tery pack.

c. Use power tools only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any other bat-

tery packs may create a risk of injury and fire.

d. When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects like paper

clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, or other small metal objects that can make a connec-

tion from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause

burns of a fire.

e. Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If

contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek

medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritations or burns.

6) Service

a. Please use a qualified expert who uses original replacement parts to repair your

power tool. This will ensure proper functioning of the power tool.

b. Caution! The use of any accessories or additional tools other than those recommen-

ded in this manual may lead to an increased risk of injury. Only use original replace-

ment parts.

Important safety instructions for battery and battery charger

If you come into contact with acid from the battery, immediately wash it off

with water. If acid gets into the eyes, rinse with plenty of water and consult a

doctor!

1. Read and observe the operating instructions and safety instructions for the battery

and battery charger before use!

2. Please note! Only use the battery and battery charger delivered by the supplier to

avoid the risk of accidents.

3. Keep the battery, battery charger and the electrical appliance away from damp, such

as rain or snow.

4. Before using the battery charger, always check that all the cables are correctly con-

nected.

5. Do not use the battery charger if you see that its cable is damaged. Have the dama-

ged cable replaced immediately.

6. If you are not using the battery charger, remove the plug from the mains. Do not pull

Hvis man kommer til at berøre syren i batteriet, skal man straks vaske det af

med vand. Kommer syren i øjnene, skylles grundigt med vand, og der søges

læge!

1. Før brug skal man læse betjenings- og sikkerhedsinstruktionerne for batteri og batte-

rilader, og instruktionerne skal følges!

2. Bemærk! Brug kun det batteri og den batterilader, der er blevet leveret af forhandle-

ren, så man undgår risiko for ulykker.

3. Batteriet, batteriladeren og den elektriske maskine må ikke udsættes for fugt, for

eksempel regn eller sne.

4. Før batteriladeren bruges, skal man altid checke, at alle ledninger er tilsluttet korrekt.

5. Batteriladeren må ikke bruges, hvis man kan se, at ledningen er beskadiget. Den

beskadigede ledning skal udskiftes med det samme.

6. Når batteriladeren ikke bruges, skal stikket tages ud af stikkontakten. Tag ikke stikket

ud ved at trække i ledningen.

7. Hvis man taber batteriladeren, eller den på anden måde udsættes for kraftigt slag

eller stød, skal den efterses på et autoriseret værksted. Beskadigede dele skal repa-

reres.

8. Batteriet skal behandles forsigtigt. Tab det ikke og udsæt det ikke for slag og stød.

9. Man må aldrig selv forsøge at reparere batteriet eller batteriladeren. Reparationer

skal udføres på et autoriseret værksted, så man undgår risiko for ulykker.

10. Før rengøring eller servicering af batteri eller batterilader, skal stikket til batteriladeren

tages ud af stikkontakten.

11. Batteriet må ikke oplades, hvis temperaturen er under 10°C eller over 40°C.

12. Ventilationsåbningerne på batteriladeren må ikke være tildækket.

13. Batteriet må ikke kortsluttes.

Hvis batteriet kortsluttes, genereres der strøm med en høj strømstyrke. Det

kan resultere i, at batteriet overophedes, antændes eller eksploderer, hvilket

kan beskadige batteriet, eller forårsage personskade.

Man skal derfor

• Ikke tilslutte ledninger til polerne på batteriet.

• Sikre, at der ikke er metalgenstande (søm, clips, mønter o.l..) i batteriholderen.

• Ikke lade batteriet ligge i vand eller regn.

• Beskadigede batteriladere eller batterier, der ikke længere kan oplades, skal derfor

bortskaffes som farligt affald. De må ikke bortskaffes sammen med almindeligt hus-

holdningsaffald.

• Batteriet må ikke kastes i vand eller ild, da det herved kan eksplodere.

Elektrisk sikkerhed

Kontroller også, at netspændingen svarer til indgangsspændingen på batteril-

aderen.
