Working Advice
Do not overload the machine, when
overloading the machine it may come to
a standstill.
The cutting performance depends on the
materials to be cut. When machine is fully
charged the result will be better.
Always make sure the blade is clean and free
form excess materials.
Make sure nothing can get wedged during
cutting by holding the guide edge (14) parallel
to the cutting surface.
Especially thin materials, such as fabrics, can
be pulled into the machine during cutting.
Always be careful and do not apply too much
pressure in order to achieve good cutting
results. Apply sufficient tension to the fabrics
and cut slowly.
Improper use of the blade will cause it to
become blunt.
Optimum cutting results are best determined
through testing on a small part of the material.
4. MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning and maintenance, always
switch off the machine and/or remove the
battery pack from the machine.
Remove the cutting adapter from the
screwdriver to clean it. There is danger of
injury when unintentionally actuating the On/
Off switch.
Be careful when cleaning the blade and
counterblade. The blades have sharp edges
which you can injure yourself on.
Clean the machine casings regularly with a soft
cloth, preferably after each use. Make sure that
the ventilation openings are free of dust and
dirt. Remove very persistent dirt using a soft
cloth moistened with soapsuds. Do not use any
solvents such as gasoline, alcohol, ammonia,
etc. Chemicals such as these will damage the
synthetic components.
