Fig. 3
Løsn boltene (A).
Fastgør boltene (A).
Udskifting af slibeskiven
Fig. 1-4
Løsn møtrikken (A, fig. 4) ved hjælp af en sekskantnøgle.
Bemærk: Denne møtrik har et venstregevind. Drej med uret for at løsne den.
Fjern møtrikken, tætningsskiven (B) og afstandsstykket (C).
Fjern derefter slibeskiven (D).

Setting the position of the toolrest
Fig.3
The tool rest should only be adjusted when the grinding wheel is completely
stationary, and the machine is disconnected from the power supply (the wall
socket).
Loosen the bolts (A).
Position the tool rest (C) such that an amount of play remains between the grinding
wheel and the tool rest, of between 1 and 1.5 mm.
Tighten the bolts (A).
Replacing the grinding wheel
Fig.1 - 4
Remove the tool rest (C, Fig. 3) by completely loosening and removing the bolts (A)
and their nuts,
Referring to Fig 1, remove the three screws (A) holding the grinding wheel cover (2) in
place.
Remove the grinding wheel cover.
Loosen the nut (A, Fig. 4) using a hexagon key.
Remark: This nut has a left-handed thread; to loosen it, turn it clockwise.
Remove the nut, the packing washer (B) and the paper spacer (C).
Next remove the grinding wheel (D).
Remove also the other packing washer and paper spacer (E & F).
Clean the spindle (G) with a cloth.
Fit the new/other grinding wheel.
First place a packing washer and paper spacer, next the grinding wheel, then
the other packing washer and spacer, and lastly, the nut.
Tighten the nut firmly.
Return the grinding wheel cover to its position, and screw it in pace.
Return the tool rest and again adjust this to the correct position (see previous section).
Sanding
Selecting the sanding belt
Coarse sandpaper (50 grain) will in general remove the most material, and fine
sandpaper (120 grain) is used for finishing. The grain size is usually printed on the
back of the sanding belt.
If the surface is very uneven, begin by using coarse sandpaper, and sand the
workpiece until it is smooth. Next, use medium coarse sandpaper (80 grain) to remove
the scratches left after the first paper, and lastly use fine sandpaper for the finishing.
