K. FUSE - Protects the amplifier from electrical

fault. Replace a blown fuse only with the type and

rating specified on the rear panel of your amplifier. If

the amplifier repeatedly blows fuses, have it tested at

an authorized Fender

Service Center.

L. POWER - Switches the amplifier on and off.

M. POWER CORD - The power line cord must be

connected to a grounded AC receptacle in

compliance with the voltage and frequency ratings

specified on the rear panel of your amplifier.

N. STANDBY - Use STANDBY instead of switching

POWER off during short breaks to avoid tube warm-

up delay and related tube wear.

Use STANDBY for 30 seconds when switching

POWER ON to extend tube life span.

O. MAIN/EXTERNAL SPEAKER -

ALWAYS connect one of three speaker

configurations to the amplifier before

switching the power on to prevent

damage to the amplifier:

The internal speakers.

The internal speakers and

a 4-ohm external speaker.

Two 4-ohm external speakers.

P. FOOTSWITCH - Connect the footswitch (included)

to activate Vibrato and to enable remote ON/OFF

switching of Vibrato and FAT. When connected, the

footswitch overrides the FAT switch on the front

panel.

Q. EFFECTS RETURN/SEND - (1) Effects Loop -

Connect SEND to the input of your effects device

and the output of the effects device to RETURN.

(2) Multiple Amps - Connect SEND on the primary

unit to RETURN on the auxiliary unit. The primary

unit controls all auxiliary units.

(3) Recording or Reinforcement - Connect SEND

to the input jack of sound equipment.
