To light the stove, small (dry) logs and possibly ecological fire-lighters are required. Open the primary and secondary air adjustment device using the levers and
position the logs as in the photo. After positioning the logs, place the fire starters below the wood and light them up. Close the door and wait for the flame to ignite
all the wood logs positioned, then close the primary air adjustment device. Failure to close this adjustment device could cause the stove to overheat and its parts
to break.
Good ignition depends verymuch on the draught of the flue pipe: if the ignition is difficult, the flue pipe will not have the recommended draught due to the fact that
it is cold and the stove will require more time to reach the intended operating conditions.
In this case, we recommend that you open the ash drawer or keep the fire door slightly open.
ATTENTION: never use flammable liquids to light the logs.
Furthermore, the paint could still be fresh and could release intense odours: regarding the first ignition, theenvironment should be well ventilated. Open doors
and windows in order to obtain an air current that frees the room from odours.
It is also possible that the product may undergo slight deformations, as the structure is made of steel, and therefore slightnoises or crunches may be heard. This
is absolutely normal and should not be considered a defect.

Once the stove is started up and is fully operational, it will be possible to regulate combustion through the secondary air adjustment device located in the upper
part of the stove. The right knob functions in the same way as the lever. By turning the knob clockwise, the air grille will be closed; conversely, by turning the knob
anti-clockwise the air grille will be opened
As for the 8.5 kW stove, combustion cannot be regulated with the secondary air adjustment device because it is not present. The only way to regulate it is to act
on the primary air regulator located on the firebox door.
