Important: Ignite the heater for the first time outdoors and then let it run for at least
10 minutes. Oil and similar substances used during the manufacturing process will be
burnt off and may produce toxic gases.
If the heater won’t start, the thermostat regulator may be set too low. Turn the
thermostat button up and try again. If it still doesn’t start, set the switch to OFF and
then switch back to ON.
Note: the heater’s most important electrical components are protected by a fuse. If
the display and the light fail to come on even though there is power to the heater,
check the fuse before anything else.
Stopping the heater:
Press the ON/OFF switch to OFF and combustion will stop. The fan will continue
to rotate for 3-4 minutes for cooling purposes.
Once the fan stops rotating, take the plug out of the socket.
Warning! Do not remove the plug from the socket while the fan is still rotating. Not
allowing the fan to cool the device after operation could lead to problems. Any repairs
as a result would not fall under the guarantee!
ALWAYS ENSURE THERE IS ADEQUATE VENTILATION!
For this heater: minimum 4 m²
Maintenance
Warning! Never carry out maintenance work if the plug is in the socket or if the
heater is still on!
If parts have to be replaced, always ensure that original parts are used! The use of
non-original parts can lead to hazardous situations. The consequences of this and
costs for repairs will fall under the guarantee and the supplier cannot be held liable.
Fuel tank
Clean the fuel tank after 200 operational hours or as often as necessary. Do not use
water; rinse with diesel or paraffin. Let it dry thoroughly before using the heater
again.
Filters
Clean the filters at least twice a year by washing in paraffin or diesel. If you have
used contaminated fuel, the filters must be cleaned immediately.
Fan blades
Warning! Check that the plug has been removed from the socket and that the fan is
not rotating.
