Press the on/off switch (1) on the side of the unit to "I" (on). The light of the reception point
(2) will light.
Set the device into operation by pressing the ON button of the remote control.
GOLDEN 1800 Comfort RC:
The infrared heater will now start its operation.
GOLDEN 2200 Comfort RCD:
The device has a ‘slow start’ at 33% output (NB. This requires a fuse type C). 4 seconds after
starting, it automatically switches to the most recently used output. On first use, it will switch
to 100% output after 4 seconds.
Select the appropriate power level by one of the three buttons:
Low = 33% - Med = 66% - High = 100%
GOLDEN 1800 Comfort RC & 2200 Comfort RCD:
To stop the unit, first press the 'off' button on the remote control. Then turn it off by pressing the
on/off-switch to ‘O’ (off). The light of the reception point (2) will extinguish. Finally, unplug it from
the wall outlet. Allow the heater to cool down.
Warning! When you turn off the unit using only the remote control, the 'standby' remains. So
turn it off using the remote control or the on/off-switch and remove the plug from the socket!
When you use the appliance for the first time (or after a long time again), observe it during the
first 10 till 15 minutes to be sure that is works trouble-free.
CLEANING - MAINTENANCE - SERVICE
Cleaning
This appliance consist of a robust and maintenance-free aluminium casing with a safety grill.
Before cleaning remove the plug from the power outlet and wait until the appliance is sufficiently
cooled off. Wipe the appliance only with a clean and lint-free cloth or a soft brush. Never use
abrasive cleaners, scrubbing brushes and chemical cleaners for cleaning! Never use flammable
cleaners such as benzene or spiritus. Give the appliance time to dry before you use it again.
To protect against electrical shock and danger of life, do not immerse cord, plug or any part of
the appliance in water or other liquid.
Maintenance
Inside the EUROM GOLDEN COMFORT infra red heater are no user serviceable parts. The
appliance is very good sealed (IP65) en may not be opened by not-qualified persons.
The lamp is from the superior type ‘GOLDEN Comfort Tube’. It has an expected lifetime of 8000
working hours and in normal circumstances it will not be necessary to replace it.
Very intensive use can lead to precocious aging of the lamp and of course an accident can
break it. In that case, contact your dealer or a qualified electrician. The lamp has a special
connection and it is not allowed to not-qualified people to remove or change it.
