BMR
Hvilestoskifte (Basal Metabolic Rate – BMR) er den energien kroppen trenger
til å bevare grunnleggende funksjoner i løpet av et døgn. Dette gjelder for
hvile, f.eks. når man sover, i romtemperatur på 28° C.
Det virkelige energibehovet (stoskifte under en prestasjon) beregnes slik
at den kalkulerte BMR-verdien multipliseres med din aktivitetskoesient (se
tabellen).

BMI angir om man har vanlig vekt, overvekt eller undervekt. Med utgangs-
punkt i verdiene som er anført i følgende to tabeller, kan du fastsette din BMI.
