6. INSTALLATION OF THE INTERNAL UNIT
Use the bracket to support the unit, leaving enough space for connecting
pipes and cables
6.4 Connecting the refrigerant pipes
Depending on the position of the hole in the hole in the mounting plate,
choose the side from which the tube will come out of the unit.
If the hole in the wall is behind the unit, do not cut the removable panel.
If the hole in the wall is to the side of the inside unit, cut the removable
panel with the tool.

- Connect the refrigent pipe
Note: For details on connecting the fridge circuit refer to the manual of
the outdoor unit.
6.5 Connection of the condensate discharge pipe
To ensure proper drainage, the pipe must be attached to the same side
from which the coolant pipe comes out.
You have to connect a drain pipe to the hose end of the drain pan of the
internal unit to carry the drain into the requested place, both outside and
inside the house.
- Insert a drain pipe of condensation to the hose end (Ø16 mm)
- Use a plastic pipe rigid enough to avoid squashing on the curvatures.
- Fix the pipe to the drain and block it with a clamp-band
- Insulate with an insulated sheath of 9mm thickness the whole pipe
inside the house to avoid drip as a consequence of an external con-
densation of the pipe.
- Verify the absence of siphons or counterslopes next to the internal unit
drain.
Attention
Before pipes connection of the refrigerant circuit you should verify the
right operation of the drain. Pour some water into the drain pan placed
under the fins battery of the internal unit and verify its right outflow.
Attention
Place the condensation water drain in order not to create damages to
people or things.
It is advisable to maintain a visual check of the drain at the end of the
pipe or to add a transparent piece into the same pipe when it goes into
a not inspectable drain.
Do not install the drain as shown below
At the hose of the condensate drain pan of the indoor unit, it is neces-
sary to connect an exhaust pipe to convey the condensate to the desired
location, both inside and outside the house.
