5.2 Switching the memory function on/off
Switch the dimmer on and off at least ten times in quick succession.
6.0 How to clean the sensor cover
Attention:
Cleaning with detergents or wet cloths can damage the device. Only ever clean the
device with a dry cloth.
7.0 What should I do if there is a problem?
The load cannot be operated locally using the sensor cover.
Make sure that the sensor cover is properly attached to the insert.
The load cannot be operated using the transmitter button.
Make sure that the maximum range is not exceeded and that there are no metal
surfaces such as metal cabinets or similar in the Z-wave transmission path. If you
want to check whether the problem is due to the transmission path, carry the
transmitter to the receiver and connect it there.
The dimmer switches off regularly in the operating state or cannot be switched
back on.
The connected load is too great and the dimmer has overheated. Allow the
dimmer to cool down and reduce the connected load.
Rectify any possible short circuits. Then switch the dimmer on and wait until the
load detection has ended (light stops flickering).
7.1 Resetting the sensor cover to the factory settings
Under certain circumstances, it may be necessary to reset the sensor cover (and, as
the case may be, the other devices in the Z-wave system) to its factory settings
and to reconfigure the Z-wave system:
1. Press the sensor cover three times within approx. 1.5 seconds. The connected
load briefly changes its switching state once.
2. Then press and hold the sensor button for approx. five seconds until the
connected load turns off. The sensor cover has been reset to its factory settings.
Caution:
When you reset to the factory settings, all the settings and connections for this device
are lost. The Z-wave system may no longer work and will need to be reconfigured.
