7.1 Detection display on the e-Centre screen, Mweb and
the e-Domotica app.
To check whether to smoke detector is working properly and detecting smoke you can
use the e-Centre touch screen, the mobile mWeb website and the e-Domotica app on
your smart phone or tablet.
Go to Devices, go to the location of the smoke detector and check the following:
Green: No smoke detected, all OK
Red: Smoke detected, not OK

7.2 Test the smoke detector and the smoke alarm
You can test the smoke detector by pressing the test button for about 3 seconds on
the smoke detector itself. You can mute the siren of the smoke detector by placing
your hand or finger on the output (1).
Also a signal is sent from the e-Centre to the e-Domotica portal. The e-Centre will
show a message about the smoke alarm being triggered. Also the internal siren of the
e-Centre will sound the selected sound and option external sirens may sound
(EM6575 e-Domotica Siren for example). Within a few seconds the first contact
person is called or receives a text message about the alarm. This contact person can
listen to the alarm message and handle the alarm or ignore it.
