Melting the chocolate:
1. As the heating element in the device needs a long time to melt the chocolate, we recommend liquefying the
chocolate or chocolate coating with the amount of approximately 200ml beforehand.
2. Melt the chocolate in an appropriate vessel on the cooker ( in a water bath if necessary ) or in the microwave
oven. Do not allow the chocolate to become too hot, as otherwise it will turn grey when it cools down.
3. You can also melt the chocolate in the collection pan once you have connected the device to the electric
power supply.
4. Add the chocolate in small pieces in the collection pan and then turn the heat switch to “I”.
Caution:
The motor should only be switched on after the chocolate has completely melted.
OPERATION
1. Fill the collection pan with melted chocolate or melt the chocolate as described above.
2. Turn the heat switch to “I” in order to melt the chocolate or to keep it liquid.
3. If the chocolate is liquid, turn the motor switch to “I”. The spiral transports the chocolate to the top before it
flow back down over the cascades into the collecting pan.
The collecting pan has a volume of approximately 200ml. During operation with the spiral, the volume can be
250ml at most.
4. After approximately 2 minutes the device should be switched off for about 0.5 minute in order to allow any
air in the tower to escape. Then switch the device on again.
Note:
If after a few minutes there is no closed chocolate loop, more chocolate or vegetable oil has to be added.
1. Skewer the pieces of fruit on a fork or wooden stick or place the nuts and ice cream on a spoon. Then hold
them in the chocolate.
2. Fill up with more liquid chocolate if necessary.
Turning the Device off:
1. Turn the switches to the “O” position and remove the mains plug.
2. Pour any remaining liquid chocolate into another vessel.
CLEANING
1. Always remove the mains plug from the socket before cleaning the device.
2. Never immerse the motor housing with the collecting pan into water.
3. Do not use any sharp items for cleaning!
4. Do not use any caustic or abrasive detergents!
Spiral, Collecting Pan and Cascades:
1. Clean the components immediately after use while the chocolate is still liquid.
2. Wash any removable parts (cascades, spiral) that have come into contact with food by hand in soapy water.
3. Only the spiral can be cleaned in a dishwasher.
