MAIN MENU / FUNCTION / SETUP / COMUNICATION
This menu allows to set up RS-485 parameters: camera identification code, communication protocol and
BAUD RATE.
Select this function to access the following submenu:

BAUD RATE 9600 BPS

Function Value Description
ID 1 ÷ 255 Used to set the camera identification code.
PROTOCOL PELCO-D ÷ PELCO-P Used to set the communication protocol.
BAUD RATE 2400 ÷ 115200 BPS Used to set baud rate.
SET Used to apply the selected settings without leaving the menu.
RETURN /
It allows to exit from the submenu and go back to the upper
level.
WARNING!
*SET: the asterisk near the function SET indicates that the parameters showed on the display are those
acquired and saved by the camera; if some changes are performed, put the cursor on the function SET and
press the menu button in order the new settings are acquired and saved by the camera.
CAMERA MANAGEMENT WITH CONTROL KEYPAD
The camera can be remotely managed by any control keypad equipped with RS-485 interface (for ex. the
80KP9200133 keypad); in this case, the communication parameters must be manually configured via
camera menu (as above described), in order to match the keypad ones (ID, Protocol, Baud Rate).
From camera menu, that can be accessed by the control keypad, the user can perform all the
customizations, as described in this manual.
Use the following commands:
• PRESET 95 to access to the Menu
• the Joystick to scroll the Menu options and change their values
• FOCUS+ to enter or exit into/from the submenus
NOTE: For keypad specific functions and access commands, see the control keypad manual.
CLEANING THE DEVICE
• Rub delicately with a dry cloth to remove dust and dirt.
• Dip the cloth in neutral detergent if dirt cannot be eliminated with a dry cloth alone.
• Do not use volatile liquids (such as petrol, alcohol, solvents, etc.) or chemically treated clothes to
clean the device to prevent deformation, deterioration or scratches to the paint finish.
