AREA SEL: – SELECTING MOVEMENT SENSITIVE AREA
Select this option to access to the selection screen. In this special screen the captured scene is divided into
zones that can be activated by the user.
In this way it is possible to select as sensitive to movement some special shooting points, while others can
be excluded.
For example, if in the scene there are a door and a window, the alarm can be activated on a door
movement and not on the window movement.
SENSIBILITY:
Use the button on the camera by moving it to the right or left to increase or reduce the motion detector
sensitivity. The value 1 indicates the max. sensitivity, the value 100 the min. sensitivity.
MAIN MENU / FUNCTION / PRIVACY
The PRIVACY function allows to specify up to 15 privacy zones that mask specific areas, which become
invisible to the operator. A privacy zone is displayed on the screen with a rectangle, which colour and
transparence level have been previously selected by the user.
Select this menu item and press the button to gain access to the following submenu:

Function Value Description
AREA SEL 1/15 ÷ 15/15 It allows to select up to 15 privacy zones.
MODE OFF ÷ ON It activates the selected privacy zone.
POSITION See submenu
After a privacy zone has been activated, it allows to
change its size and position.
COLOR █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █
It allows to select the color of the privacy zone (see note).
TRANSP 1.00 ÷ 0,75 ÷ 0,50 ÷ 0.00 Select this option define privacy zone transparence level.
MOSAIC ON ÷ OFF It allows to apply a mosaic effect to the privacy zone.
RETURN /
It allows to exit from the submenu and go back to the upper
level.
COLOR – AREA COLOR
Select this option to choose the color of the privacy zone.
The following colors are available: white, magenta, cyan, yellow, blue, green, orange and black.
MOSAIC - MOSAIC EFFECT
With transparence level lower than 1.00, it is possible to apply a mosaic effect to the privacy zone, in
order to mask the subject/area.
NOTES ABOUT PRIVACY ZONE
It is recommended to select privacy zones slightly larger than the area to be masked.
