Troubleshooting
This table is only a guide to aid you in getting your vehicle operating, should you have any problems. If
you are unable to get your vehicle operating, call either Electric Mobility Customer Service toll free
number located at the front of this manual or your local Authorized Service Center.
Symptom Possible Cause Solution
Unit does not move 1.Keyswitch not “ON” 1.Turn keyswitch to “ON”
2.Main circuit breaker tripped 2.Reset circuit breaker in trunk area
3.Brake release lever in ‘Push Mode’ 3. Place lever to ‘Ride Mode’
4.Charger connected to outlet 4.Disconnect charger
5.Battery power low 5.Recharge batteries
6.Battery harness loose or unplugged 6. Plug harnesses into connector
7.Scooter shuts down to conserve battery7.Cycle keyswitch Off, then On
8.Controller error 8.Check Status Lamp for Flash Code

9. Scooter is in seat lift mode 9. Change rocker switch to drive
mode
Scooter feels wobbly
when driven 1.Tire pressure low 1.Inflate tire
2.Seat is loose 2.Check seat for loose hardware or
damage. Ensure seat in locked
position.
3.Bearings in head tube worn 3.Replace bearings
Range less than
expected 1.Charging too infrequently 1.Charge unit more often
2.Defective or worn out battery 2.Load test batteries. If necessary
replace.
3.Cold weather reduces battery life 3. Allow batteries to reach room
temperature and then fully recharge

Erratic behavior when

Brake squeals 1. Dirt in brake pad 1.Blow dirt out with air pressure hose
Brake release lever sticks 1.Rust and corrosion 1. Spray ball detent area with
lubrication oil. Be careful not to get
oil onto the brake pad
Stiffness in steering 1. Possible grime build-up 1. Lubricate rod end joints (4 wheel
models)
