Use of thermometer

Always make sure the probe is clean and not damaged.

Switch on: Press ON/MEM button

Ear mode:

• Press the “ON/MEM” button, push up the raised brim

on the sliding panel above of LCD screen until it clicks

into place. The thermometer is in ear mode.

Press the “SCAN” button to get the body temperature

by ear measurement.

Forehead mode:

Press the “ON/MEM” button, push back the raised brim

on the sliding panel above the LCD screen. The

thermometer is in forehead mode.

In this mode, you can get the body temperature with

the forehead.

Scan mode:

While the thermometer is on, press and hold the ON/MEM button and

at the same time press the SCAN button once.

You will see the scan icon in the display. In this mode, you can get

the target surface temperature.

Memory:

There are totally 25 sets of memories for ear and forehead measure

ments. Each memory also records, together with the measurement, the

date, time, mode and site location.

• When switched on, press the ON/MEM button to recall the

temperatures stored with the icon.

°C / °F switch:

When the thermometer is turned o, the LCD displays the date, time

and room temperature. Press and hold the “SCAN” button and then im

mediately press and release the “ON/MEM” button. After 3 seconds the

icon °C will change to °F. The same procedure to change back to °C.
