Open the packaging and take out the equipment
with care.
Remove the packaging material and any
packaging and/or transportation braces (if
available).
Check to see if all items are supplied.
Inspect the equipment and accessories for
transport damage.
If possible, please keep the packaging until the
end of the guarantee period.
IMPORTANT
The equipment and packaging material are not
toys. Do not let children play with plastic bags,
foils or small parts.

4. Intended use
The equipment may be used indoors in a free
standing position or outdoors (but not in rain). Keep a
minimum distance of 1 m between the housing and
walls, combustible materials (furniture, curtains, etc.).
The distance between the ceiling and the reflector
must be at least 30 cm. The telescopic tube must be
completely extended (the distance between the floor
and the heater head must be at least 1.80 m) and
may be retracted only for transport or storage
purposes. The halogen heater warms objects or
persons at which it is pointed but does not directly
heat the air in the process. The equipment may be
used only when completely mounted and standing on
a stable surface. It is prohibited to operate the
equipment on an instable surface (e.g. on a bed).
Please note that our equipment has not been
designed for use in commercial, trade or industrial
applications. Our warranty will be voided if the
equipment is used in commercial, trade or industrial
businesses or for equivalent purposes.

6. Before starting the equipment
6.1 Assembly
1. Fig. 2: Screw the lower stand pipe (3) to the base
plate (1) using the three screws (11).
2. Fig. 3: Slip the cover (2) over the lower stand pipe
and guide the mains cable (7) through the lower
stand pipe.
3. Fig. 4: Guide the mains cable (7) through the
telescopic tube (4) and screw the telescopic tube
securely to the lower stand pipe (3).
4. Fig. 5: Remove the protective enclosure (a) for
the plug connection on the heater head (6).
5. Fig. 6: Connect the socket (b) of the mains cable
to the plug (c) on the heater head and mount the
previously removed protective enclosure over the
completed plug connection (Fig. 5 / Item a). Place
the heater head (6) onto the telescopic tube (4).
When doing so, make sure that the two holes (d)
in the telescopic tube and the holes (e) in the
holder on the heater head are above each other.
