INSTALLATION
INTRODUCTION
The installation of the boiler must comply with local
regulations, including those referring to national and
European regulations.
The boiler must be used only for the purpose for
which it was designed. Any other use is to be
considered inappropriate and dangerous.
The boiler is designed to heat water. The use of
any liquids other than water is to be considered
improper and dangerous.
The boiler is designed exclusively to be installed
in suitable technical rooms. Therefore it cannot
be installed or be operated outdoors. Outdoor
installation can cause malfunctions and dangers.
The use of the boiler is FORBIDDEN to children
and incapacitated persons.
It is FORBIDDEN to modify or alter the safety
devices on the boiler.
DO NOT leave the packing in the reach of children
or incapacitated persons.
DO NOT touch the boiler with damp or wet feet.
DO NOT close or reduce ventilation openings in
the boiler technical room.
DO NOT close or reduce the air inlets of the boiler.
During operation, some elements of the boiler can
reach high temperatures, so avoid contact without
suitable protections.
During operation, the combustion chamber door
MUST remain closed.
The boiler is designed to work in any weather
conditions, but the safety systems may intervene
in the event of adverse climatic conditions. Do not
disable the safety devices for any reason.
Immediately turn off the boiler in the event of
natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods, etc.
If the boiler shuts down, but not due to normal
maintenance, call the technical assistance centre.
The boiler must be installed by qualified technical
personnel holding the necessary professional
requirements, ensuring, under their own
responsibility, compliance with regulations in line
with the rules of good practice.
The boiler MUST be connected to a plumbed
heating system.
The boiler MUST NOT be put in operation without
being connected to a plumbing system.
The technical installer must verbally describe the
operation of the system.
Checking the suitability of the installation
space
Before installing, you must locate a suitable point for
placing the boiler, verifying that:
The boiler to be installed is compatible with the
type of system present.
The technical room is in compliance with the
requirements and characteristics provided by
applicable regulations.
There is sufficient combustion air flowing into the
room to ensure regular combustion.
The pipes for the heating system can be installed
in the room.
The support surface has a load capacity
compatible with the weight of the appliance.
Otherwise, the support surface must be suitably
adjusted prior to installation.
The walls behind and on the side of the boiler and
its support surface are made of non-combustible
materials or covered with protective material.
The flue and external air inlets can be installed and
positioned easily.
REMARKS ON INSTALLATION
Note that:
installation must be carried out by authorised
technical personnel;
the appliance must be installed and operated
in compliance with local and national law and
European regulations. The applicable Italian
regulation is UNI 10683;
if installed in a condominium, the appliance must
be approved by the administrator.

installation.
