The instructions contained within the Installation Template enclosed must be followed
carefully when installing the Dyson AirbladeTM hand dryer.
Failure to accurately follow the instructions may result in the incorrect operation of the
Dyson AirbladeTM hand dryer, damage to property and/or personal injury.
Dyson will not be held liable for any damage to property or personal injury as a result of
failure to comply with the instructions contained herein.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
READ BEFORE PROCEEDING FURTHER
1. All electrical installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with
current local codes or regulations.
2. All repairs and service should be carried out by a Dyson service engineer, authorised
Dyson service agent or Dyson trained technician.
3. The Dyson AirbladeTM hand dryer must be earthed.
4. Isolate power for installation or servicing.
5. Dyson recommends the use of protective clothing/safety glasses when installing/repairing
as necessary.
6. Trouble free operation and safety can only be guaranteed if genuine Dyson spare parts
are used.
7. Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near children.
8. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety.
CAUTION
Do not use the Dyson AirbladeTM hand dryer for any purpose other than drying hands.
Risk of electric shock! Do not remove casing or attempt to repair unless unit is being
serviced by qualified service personnel. If casing is removed or handled improperly the
internal components of the Dyson AirbladeTM hand dryer may cause harm or become
permanently damaged.
To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose the internal mechanisms/
components of this unit to moisture.

CLEANING ADVICE
Make sure that all surfaces of the Dyson AirbladeTM hand dryer
are cleaned daily with a soft cloth and non-abrasive, non-caustic
cleaning solution.
MAINTENANCE ADVICE
Regularly check the air inlet at the base of the Dyson AirbladeTM
hand dryer to ensure that it is free from dust and debris. If the air
inlet gets dirty simply remove dust or debris.
Make sure that all of the Dyson AirbladeTM hand dryer’s surfaces
and the (4) sensor lenses are wiped down daily to maintain
uninterrupted operation of the unit.

HOW TO USE
1. Insert your hands and the Dyson AirbladeTM hand dryer will start automatically.
2. Move your hands up and down slowly through the air.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem Action
The Dyson AirbladeTM hand dryer fails to start. Check fuse/circuit breaker is working and
that the power supply is connected. Ensure
sensors are clean.
The Dyson AirbladeTM hand dryer is turning
on and off erratically. Ensure sensors are clean.
The Dyson AirbladeTM hand dryer sometimes
cuts out when in use, but resumes operation
after a period of time.
Check the air inlet at the base is clean and
free of dust. If the air inlet is dusty simply
remove dust.
Air is coming out of the front or back of the unit. Check for and remove any obstructions.
If problems persist please contact the Dyson Helpline on the relevant telephone number,
which you can find on page 12 of this manual.
Note: If the machine is used continuously for 30 seconds, it will cut out automatically and
restart in 5 seconds once hands are removed and reinserted.

CONSEILS DE NETTOYAGE
Il est recommandé de nettoyer régulièrement toutes les surfaces
du sèche-mains Dyson Airblade™ avec un chiffon doux et une
solution nettoyante non-abrasive.
CONSEILS D’ENTRETIEN
Vérifiez régulièrement (une fois par mois) l’entrée d’air située à la
base du sèche-mains Dyson Airblade™, afin de vous assurer que
la poussière ne s’y accumule pas. Si l’entrée d’air présente des
impuretés, enlevez-les soigneusement.
Assurez-vous que toutes les surfaces et les 4 lentilles du sèche-
mains Dyson Airblade™ sont nettoyées quotidiennement afin
d’assurer un fonctionnement constant de l’appareil.

UTILISATION
1. Insérez vos mains pour déclencher automatiquement le sèche-mains Dyson AirbladeTM.
2. Montez et descendez lentement vos mains à travers le souffle d’air.
DÉPANNAGE
Problème Action
Le sèche-mains Dyson Airblade™ ne démarre
pas. Vérifiez le fonctionnement du fusible/
disjoncteur et le branchement à la prise
d’alimentation. Assurez-vous que les
détecteurs sont propres.
Le sèche-mains Dyson Airblade™ se
déclenche et s’éteint de façon intempestive. Assurez-vous que les détecteurs sont
propres.
Le sèche-mains Dyson Airblade™
s’interrompt parfois en cours d’utilisation,
puis se remet à fonctionner après un certain
temps.
Vérifiez que l’entrée d’air, située à la
base de l’appareil, est propre et non
poussiéreuse. Si l’entrée d’air présente des
impuretés, enlevez-les soigneusement.
De l’air sort de l’avant ou de l’arrière de l’appareil. Retirez tout objet obstruant les orifices.
Si le problème persiste, contactez le Service Consommateurs Dyson au numéro de
téléphone relatif à votre pays, que vous trouverez page 12 de ce manuel.
Remarque : Si le sèche-mains Dyson Airblade™ est utilisée en continu pendant
30 secondes, il s’éteindra automatiquement pour redémarrer 5 secondes plus tard,
une fois les mains retirées puis réinsérées.
