Remove the rubber sealing plug

To avoid water spilling;
As the negative pressure of the condensate drain pan is large, tilt the drain hose
downwards towards the oor at approximately 20 degrees.
Straighten the drain hose to avoid a trap from being created in the hose.
4) CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Warning
Before cleaning the device, always switch it OFF, disconnect it from the mains electricity
supply.
Cleaning the air lters
It is recommended to clean the air lter every 2 weeks when using the device.
Dust collets on the lters and restricts the airow and reduces the efciency and could even
cause damage to the device. The device has 4 air lters; 2 on the rear, and two on the side.
The air lter requires regular cleaning and is removable for easy cleaning.
Warning! Do not operate the device without air lters in place! It might contaminate
the evaporator.
REAR FILTERS
• Remove the plug from the power socket.
• Pull out the back panel (A1) & (A2) from the device.
• The back panel must be removed to gain access to the lter.
• Remove the lter mesh from the back panel (A1).
• The lower back panel (A2) has a xed lter mesh and cannot
be removed from the back panel.
• Use a clean rag to absorb the surface dust on the lter mash. If
the lter is extremely dirty, use tap water to rinse the lter. Fully
dry the lter mesh before placing it back in the device.
• Switch off the device
• Remove the drain plug from the drain outlet
• Store the plug safely
• Place the drain hose over the drain outlet
• Make sure the drain hose is not kinked and clear of any obstructions
• Place the drain hose in a bucket or drain and make sure the water can ow out
• Do not submerge the hose end into water, otherwise it can cause an “Air lock” in the drain
hose
