3. INSTALLATION
The following gures are showing the single stage version of the remote lever. The description is valid for both
versions of the lever.
1. Put the remote lever to the left side on the top of the
handle bar.
The axial position can be chosen to t your needs best.
2. Tighten the xing screw with a maximum torque of
1.3 Nm.
3. Check the proper function of the remote lever and the control elements next to it.
Whether the remote lever nor any other control element may be affected in its proper function.
4. Push the remote lever in the position «OPEN»
(see «Function and Compatibility»).
5. Put the cable into the remote lever.
Only use uncoated cables!
6. Cut the cable housing to the required length and put it
into the remote lever.
Only use cable housings with a outer diameter of
4,2 mm!
7. Check if the handlebar with the installed cable housing
can be turned without being affected.
8. Put the cable housing into the cable guide on the fork
or the shock (delivered with the fork, the shock or the
controls kit).
9. Install the cable to the component and shorten it if needed.
10. Check the proper function and re-adjust if necessary
