Macaroni Casserole – 4 servings
Ingredients:
125 g leeks, cut into ne strips
150 g macaroni
2 red onions, cut into thin slices
1 red pepper, cut into small pieces
15 ml (1 TBSP) olive oil
150 ml plain yoghurt
150 g low-fat cream cheese
400 g (1 tin) tomatoes, cut into small pieces, drained
60 g cheddar cheese, grated
Salt and a freshly ground black pepper
Preparation:
1. Set the temperature of the device to 180 °C/350 °F and allow it to preheat.
2. Add the leeks to a cooking pot with boiling salt water.
3. Bring the brew to a boil and pour out the water.
4. Add the macaroni to a cooking pot with boiling salt water.
5. Allow the macaroni to boil for 10 to 12 minutes and then pour out the water.
6. Mix the onions and pepper.
7. Heat up oil in a frying pan.
8. Braise onions and the pepper for 3 to 4 minutes until transparent, but not brown.
9. Mix the plain yoghurt, cream cheese, tomatoes, and spices in a bowl. Add the macaroni and
leeks.
10. Mix everything together.
11. Place the mixture in a casserole.
12. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
13. Place the casserole in the device.
14. Bake the casserole for 20 to 30 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
