2. Set the desired time.
Care/Maintenance
❐ Attention! Danger of burn due to hot surfaces! Always allow the
device to cool off completely before you clean it!
❐ Attention! Danger of electrocution! Before cleaning the device,
turn it off. Be absolutely sure to disconnect the mains plug.
❐ Attention! Danger of electrocution! Prevent any liquid from pen-
etrating the cover. If liquid penetrates the cover, this may result
in a short circuit and set re to the device.
❐ Caution! Damage to property due to improper handling of the de-
vice! The cover and the support are not suitable for being cleaned
in the dishwasher.
• Clean the support, cover holder, glass cooking bowl, and the accessories with warm water
and a mild detergent.
• Wipe the glass border of the cover off with a damp cloth.
• Allow all parts of the device to dry completely.
• Do not use any solvents or abrasive cleaning agents.
Self-cleaning function of the device
The device features a self-cleaning function. Use the self-cleaning function in order to clean the
glass cooking bowl.
❐ Caution! Damage to property due to improper handling of the
unit! Allow the glass cooking bowl to cool off before lling it with
cold water. An excessive change in temperature may cause the
glass to crack.
1. Remove the food from the glass cooking bowl.
2. Pour out the fat.
3. Allow the appliance to cool off.
4. Add approx. 3 cm of cold water and a small amount of detergent to the glass bowl.
5. Then place the cover on the glass cooking bowl.
6. Connect the mains plug of the device to a socket.
7. Set the temperature control to the “Thaw/Wash” setting.
8. Set the desired time with the timer.
You can remove stubborn dirt with a dish scrubber.
The grill may be left in the glass cooking bowl during the self-cleaning process.
Storage
❐ Fire hazard due to hot device parts! Always allow the device and
accessories to cool off completely before putting them away.
