The time required for the cooking

process will be shown on the left side

of the LED display, this will countdown

as the soup is cooked.

When you are cooking your soup the

right side of your LED display will show

the process the Soup Chef is doing.

HEATING: The red LED bars will scroll

vertically up the display.

BLENDING: The red LED icons will

switch from left to right showing

that the Soup Chef is blending the

contents.

RESTING: The six red LED’s will be

permanently on showing the heating

element is off and the contents are

resting.

Once you have highlighted the

function that you want press the /

SELECT button to start the cooking

process.

SMOOTH: Cooking time 19 minutes

CHUNKY: Cooking time 25 minutes

IMPORTANT: You can turn your soup

maker off if you press and hold

SELECT button.

Serving Your Soup

Important: After cooking your soup, the walls of the soup kettle will

be very hot and care should be taken when handling it. Use caution

when removing the lid as steam will come out. Take care when

pouring the soup as it will be very hot .

Pour the contents of the soup jug

into bowls or a large heat proof

serving container.

NOTE: If there is any soup left or you have made a batch of soup to be used

later, the soup can either be kept in the fridge, or it can be frozen for later use

- provided it is in an appropriate container. Do not put your Soup Chef in the

fridge nor the freezer.

IMPORTANT: Never use the Soup Chef to reheat cold soup. Always reheat

your soup in either a microwave or in a pan on a cooker.

Remove the lid of the Soup Chef by

lifting the handle upwards, then grip

the handle of the soup jug and pull

the lid upwards.

CAUTION: Be careful of the steam

emitted when the lid is removed.

When the soup has ﬁnished cooking

your Soup Chef will automatically go

into the KEEP WARM function. This will

keep your soup warm until you turn it

off by pressing the

/ SELECT button.

Zodra u de gewenste functie hebt geselecteerd,

drukt u op de knop [symbool] / SELECT om het

kookproces te starten.

SMOOTH: kooktijd 19 minuten

CHUNKY: kooktijd 25 minuten

BELANGRIJK: U kunt het apparaat uitschake-

len door de knop [symbool] / SELECT ingedrukt

te houden.

Zodra de soep klaar is, wordt automatisch de

warmhoudfunctie ingeschakeld. Zo blijft de

soep warm totdat u deze functie uitschakelt

door op de knop [symbool] / SELECT te drukken.

De resterende tijd van het kookproces wordt

aangegeven aan de linkerzijde op het leddisplay.

De timer telt af tot de soep klaar is.

Aan de rechterzijde op het display wordt weer-

gegeven bij welke stap de Soup Chef is.

VERWARMEN: De rode leds op het display

lopen verticaal omhoog.

BLENDEN: De rode leds verspringen van links

naar rechts als de Soup Chef de ingrediënten

aan het blenden is.

RUSTEN: De zes leds branden ononderbroken

als teken dat het verwarmingselement uitge-

schakeld is en de inhoud van de Soup Chef rust.

Verwijder het deksel van de Soup Chef door de

handgreep omhoog te bewegen. Pak vervolgens

de handgreep beet en til het deksel op.

LET OP: Let op de stoom die vrijkomt als u het

deksel verwijdert.

Giet de inhoud van de soepkan in kommen of

een grote hittebestendige schaal.

LET OP: Als er soep over is, of als u een voor-

raadje soep hebt gemaakt om later te gebruiken,

dan kan de soep ofwel worden bewaard in de

koelkast, of u kunt de soep invriezen in een

daarvoor geschikte bak. Zet de Soup Chef zelf

niet in de koelkast of in de diepvriezer.

BELANGRIJK: Gebruik de Soup Chef nooit om

koude soep op te warmen. Warm koude soep

op in de magnetron of in een pan op het fornuis.

Belangrijk: Na het bereiden van de soep zijn de wanden van soepkan zeer heet. Let

daarop als u het apparaat beetpakt. Wees voorzichtig met het verwijderen van het

deksel, waarbij stoom vrijkomt. Pas op met het uitschenken van de hete soep.
