the second slider is completely pushed against the first slider, both halves
of the zip can now easily be separated from one another. For combining
the zip sections again you do the same in reverse order (see pictures on
the right page).
The use of the four slider zip system
With this zip system the zip can be divided at both ends. To take out a
front or side panel two sliders should always be moved to the end of the
zip. A dividable section can be found at both ends. This dividable section
consists of two narrow metal insert parts. These insert parts combined
with the two sliders will offer the opportunity to divide the zip. The outer
slider should be moved so far to the end of the zip until the two nar-
row metal insert parts completely disappear into the slider. This slider is
now blocked at this place and can not be moved along the zip anymore.
When the second slider is completely pushed against the first slider, both
halves of the zip can now easily be separated from one another. For
combining the zip sections again you do the same in reverse order (see
pictures on the right page).
Replacing sliders
Especially on awnings which are used for permanent camping the zips
wear off. Often the same door is used as an entrance causing the sliders
to wear off in the long run, both zip halves can then no longer be
connected properly with one another. To solve this problem the sliders
can easily be replaced.
