be locked firmly onto the Quick Lock profile. Now it is easy to insert the
roof rafter into the Quick Lock pad. By tensioning your roof rafter you
will automatically push the flat part of the Quick Lock pad onto the cara-
van. Please ensure you have tensioned the frame sufficiently so that you
create a stable construction.

TIP: When you have attached the Quick Lock pad in the correct
position it is useful to leave a small mark on the Quick Lock
profile.
Using the Plastic eyes
If you do not wish to use the Quick Lock pads it is essential that your
caravan is fitted with plastic eyes. In case these plastic eyes are not yet
fixed onto your caravan, you can use the supplied eyes and fix these with
the help of the enclosed screws. To prevent leakage into the caravan
skin it is advisable to use waterproof sealant beneath the plastic eyes.
Depending on the type of frame you have, you need to fix 3 or 5 plastic
eyes. Before you start to attach the plastic eyes to your caravan please
ensure that your caravan is horizontal. Attach the plastic eyes as shown
in the picture. The plastic eyes A and C are fitted approximately between
200 - 220 cm from the ground. The centre eye should be fixed as shown
in the picture (above point B).
The measurement between A-B
and B-C should be equal. Screw
the plastic eyes parallel approxi-
mately 1 cm from the rail, so that
the hooks on the frame can be
attached without any obstruction.
The possible two additional eyes
should then be fixed between A-B
and B-C.
