Zubereitungstipp:
Nehmen Sie den Teig aus der Brotbackmaschine, nachdem das Programm beendet ist. Teilen Sie den
Teig in 12 gleiche Stücke und formen Sie die Stücke jeweils in kleine Brötchen. Legen Sie alle geformten
Brötchen auf ein leicht eingeöltes Backblech und lassen Sie den die Brötchen 40 min. bei 40° C gehen.
Bepinseln Sie danach die Brötchen mit geschlagenem Ei oder Kaffee. Backen Sie diese dann in einem
traditionellen Backofen 10-20 min. (oder bis dass die Brötchen eine goldbraune Kruste haben) auf 200°C.
Man kann die Brötchen auch mit Mohn oder Sesam verzieren. Ebenfalls kann man dem Teig noch
verschiedene Zutaten hinzufügen, wie z.B. Nüsse, Rosinen usw.
Vollkornbrötchen werden auf gleiche Art und Weise gemacht.
Unsere belgischen „pistolets“ werden beinahe auf die gleiche Art zubereitet, jedoch wird dem Teig kein
Zucker oder Ei hinzugefügt und es wird ein extra Esslöffel Öl hinzugefügt. Die belgischen „pistolets“
werden nicht mit Ei eingepinselt, können jedoch vor dem Backen mit etwas Mehl bestäubt werden.
Preparation tip:
Remove the dough from the bread machine when the programme ends. Divide into 12 little balls.
Place them on a lightly oiled baking tray and let rise for approx. 40 minutes on 40°C. Then coat each roll
in beaten egg and/or coffee. Bake in a traditional oven at 200°C for 10 to 20 minutes or until they have a
golden brown crust. You can also decorate the rolls with, for instance, poppy or sesame seeds. A whole
variety of ingredients can also be added to the dough such as nuts, raisins, etc.
Wholemeal rolls are made the same way. Our Belgian pistolets -hard rolls- are made almost the same
way, but the dough is prepared without sugar or eggs.
Do add a tablespoon of oil. These rolls should not be coated in egg, but can be sprinkled with flour.
