5. EINSTELLUNGEN UND KONTROLLEN
5.1 Reifen
Einzustellender Reifendruck:
•0,21 Kpa (2,1 atm) (30 psi)
ablassen.
5.3 Einstellung der Bremsen
Wenn die Bremskra der Handbremse nachlässt,
die Bremsbacken nachstellen. Hierzu die Schrau-
be des Drahtspanners am Ende des Bremshebels
und/oder die Schraube des Drahtspanners am
Bremsbackenhalter regulieren.
5.3.1 Einstellung am Hebel (Abb. 5.3.1)
•Die Mutter (A) lösen
•Zum Nachstellen der Bremse die Schraube
(B) lösen
•Die Mutter (A) wieder festziehen, dabei die
Schraube (B) xieren
•Das Rad bewegen, um sicherzustellen, dass
es hindernisfrei dreht, und die Bremskra
prüfen
•Falls erforderlich, die Einstellung erneut vor-
nehmen
•Nach vorgenommener Einstellung sicherstel-
len, dass der Knopf (F) der Feststellbremse
betätigt werden kann
5.3.2 Einstellung am Bremsbackenhalter
(Abb. 5.3.2)
•Die Mutter (A) lösen
•Zum Nachstellen der Bremse die Schraube
(B) lösen
•Die Mutter (A) wieder festziehen, dabei die
Schraube (B) xieren
•Das Rad bewegen, um sicherzustellen, dass
es hindernisfrei dreht, und die Bremskra
prüfen. Falls erforderlich, die Einstellung er-
neut vornehmen.

le vérin (B);
le vérin (B) ne tourne pas avec lui ;
la vis (B);
la vis (B) ne tourne pas avec lui ;

5. CHECKS AND ADJUSTMENTS
5.1 Tyres
Tyres inating pressure is:
•0,21 Kpa (2,1 atm) (30 psi)
While inating be sure that the rim line of the
tyre is at an even distance from the rim all the
way around on both sides.
Make sure that the valve stem is straight up
through the hole in the wheel rim.
Deate tires of about 1/3 when the scooter is
le for long time under the summer sun or is
dispatched by airplane.
5.3 Brakes adjustment
As soon as the manual brake begin to lose ef-
ciency, it is necessary to recover the wear of
the brake shoes.
Adjustment can be eected by means of the
adjusters at the brake lever and/or at the brake
shoes holder:
5.3.1 Adjustment at the lever (F. 5.3.1)
• Unlock the lock nut (A);
•To tighten the brake, unscrew the hollow
screw (B)
•Lock the lock nut (A) making sure that the
hollow screw (B) does not turn with it.
•Spin the wheel to check that it turns freely
and test brake eciency.
•Readjust if necessary.
•Aer adjustment, check that the parking but-
ton (F) can be pressed normally
5.3.2 Adjustment at the brake shoes holder
(F. 5.3.2)
•Unlock the lock nut (A);
•To increase brake eciency, unscrew the
screw (B)
•Lock the lock nut (A) making sure that the
screw (B) does not turn with it.
•Spin the wheel to check that it turns freely
and test brake eciency. Readjust if neces-
sary
Adjustment is well made when the maximum
braking eciency is obtained before that the
brake lever touches the handlebar.
When it is no more possible to recover the bra-
ke eciency only through the adjusters, ask to a
repair shop to replace the brake shoes.
