Additional safety instructions for air
compressors
The tank has been designed to withstand
specific operating pressures. Do not make
adjustments or parts substitutions to alter the
factory set operating pressures.
Securely follow the instructions on draining of the
tank. Disregarding the draining instructions, or
failing to properly drain the tank, leads to a
weakening of the tank which will eventually result
into leakage, creating a hazardous situation.
If the tank develops a leak, immediately switch off
the unit and do not operate it until it has been
repaired by a qualified technician.
Always check the pressure rating of the tools to
be used on this unit. Follow the manufacturers
recommendations and do not exceed the
maximum allowable pressure rating.
Never exceed the maximum allowable pressure
rating of tires and other accessories that can be
inflated with this unit.
Do not attempt to inflate low-pressure accessories
such as children’s toys, footballs, etc.
Place the unit in an area well away from
obstructions that could restrict the flow of fresh
air to the ventilation openings.
Do not place objects against or on top of the unit.
Use the unit in dry places only.
If possible, always operate the unit in a well-
ventilated area free of combustible materials or
solvent vapors. When the operations consist of
spraying flammable materials, make sure to place
the unit upwind and well away from the spray
area.
Parts of the unit, such as the pump head and the
outlet tube, may become very hot during use.
The unit will remain hot for several minutes after
operation. Do not touch the exposed metal parts
on the unit during or immediately after operation.
Do not move the unit while it is running.
Do not stand on top of the unit.
Do not use compressed air to clean clothes.
Warning! Compressed air is not safe for breathing!
Sprayed materials such as paint products may
contain harmful substances that cause a health
risk. Always use a suitable respirator whenever
the operations consist of spraying materials.
Also check with the requirements that are
applicable for the material to be sprayed.
Always wear safety glasses with side shields
when using the unit.
Never aim the air stream at people or animals.
