- Proceed to re-assemble the

assembly, paying particular atten-

tion to the correct torque setting for

the hydraulic cartridge - fork leg,

and also to the assembly of the oil

seal, placing a little suspension oil

on the oil seal lips and inserting it

using the special insertion tool.

Refill with hydraulic oil, and do not

forget to insert the pre-load bush

between the spring and the fork leg

plug.

REAR SUSPENSION

- The rear shock absorber assembly

is maintenance-free, and there are

no external adjustments possible,

and consequently in the event of

malfunction, the entire faulty unit

must be replaced.

- In R DRD models maintenance

must be carried out on the rear sus-

pension link assembly which provi-

des the progressivity to the whole

unit: this maintenance work consists

of stripping down the links, cleaning

and re-lubrication of the link bea-

rings in the event of intensive off-

road usage of the machine, in parti-

cular if such areas are very dusty or

muddy.
