- Next extract the hydraulic cartridge
through the upper end of the fork
bar.
- Grip the fork leg in a bench vice
with soft metal cheek pieces over
the faces and place a cloth over its
mouth so as to avoid causing dama-
ge and remove the oil seal using a
lever. Always replace the oil seal
when refitting the assembly.
- Proceed to clean and degrease all
the components of the front suspen-
sion, in order to check these parts.
- Check the degree of wear on the
fork bar guide bush. Replace it if it
shows signs of damage over more
than 30% of its entire surface.
