- Open the door and load the dishwasher. Make
sure the crockery does not obstruct the rotating
arms.
- Pour washing powder into the distributor.
- Close the door. Turn the programming knob to
the wash position.
- Select your programme and press one of the
option buttons if desired.
Warning : do not press more than one
option (depending on model).
- Press the
“Start”
button. The programme
will start and the
“Wash”
light comes on.
Soak
Your dishwasher’s consumption of water and
energy are so low that you do not have to wait
until you have completely filled it with crockery
before running it.
However, if you only run it every two or three
days, you can run an interim programme.
This is a very short cycle which rinses the
crockery so that food traces do not dry on and
become stubborn. To select this cycle, turn the
programme knob to
“Soak”
and press the
“Start”
button.
One soak cycle will be enough, and the
programmer will not let you run two of them in
succession.
Stopping the programme
When the programme is over, the
“Wash”
light will go out. Turn the programme knob to
“Stop”.
Do the same if you want to interrupt the
dishwasher during a cycle.
The indicator lights
Wash
:
This light comes on when the
programme starts and
goes off when the
wash cycle is complete
. Do not turn the
machine off until this light has gone out. The
light should be off when programming a new
wash cycle.
The missing product indicator lights
go on when the machine is turned on.
salt :
Lights up when salt is low. After you
have added regenerating salt it may stay on until
the salt has dissolved sufficiently. This happens
generally after a cycle (or if you have not
properly filled the machine – see page 27) for
example when starting off with the sample.
Note :
Where water is particularly soft
regenerating salt is not needed but the light will
remain on.
rincing product :
Goes on, door ajar,
when you should add rinsing product (see filling
page 28)
.
Economical and ecological washing
Do not pre-wash your dishes by hand.
Use all the capacities of your dishwasher. It will
wash economically and ecologically.
Always choose the programme best adapted to
the stains and the type of dishes.
Avoid using too much detergent, regenerating
salt and rinsing liquid. Observe the
recommendations contained in this manual
(pages 27, 28 and 29) as well as the product
manufacturer’s instructions.
Make sure that the water softener is properly
adjusted. (see page 27)
