2.0 PLACING

The HWO 1000 high pressure cleaner is equipped with 4 rubber wheels which

allow the machine to move lightly even on difficult surfaces.

The DAMPCOMAT high pressure cleaner should be placed always as horizontal

as possible. Do not use the cleaner in an enclosed space and in rooms with

danger of explosion. Take care of sufficient waterdischarge and sufficient air for

the burner. Because of the smoke produced by the burner, the machine should

only be used in open air or in very well ventilated rooms. If the machine is to be

connected to a permanent funnel, place a trapezium shaped cap about 10 cm

above the chimney of the cleaner. Funneldiameter should be at least 18 cm.

Protect the machine in winter against temperatures below zero. Place the cleaner

in a frostfree environment or let antifreeze circulate through the machine.

2.1 ELECTRIC CONNECTION

In the factory the machine is already fully equipped with cables. The machine now

has to be connected to your own electric circuit. Connect the cleaner to a separate

group. Beware that voltage and amperage of your electric circuit meet the needs

of the machine. Therefore check technical details (9.0). Use only cables with the

right diameter. The factory advises to use cables of at least 2,5 qmm. Never lay

the plug and contact cover in water, and never put them in a place where it can get

wet from spraying. Danger for electrocution!

2.2 WATERCONNECTION

For quick connection of hoses are cleaner and accessories equipped with high

pressure screw couplings and GEKA waterhose couplings. If your water taps get

also equipped with GEKA couplings, your waterhose will always easily fit.

Beware that the cleaner always gets sufficient water. The waterconsumption of the

machine reaches up to 1000 ltrs/hour. That amount your waterconduit should

deliver. So use hoses of sufficient diameter and turn tap fully open. Beware that

hoses do not bend or leak. Do not place any heavy objects on hoses, nor place

hoses over sharp edges.

3.0 FIRST USE

1. Check if the instructions mentioned above have been executed.

2. Check the oillevel of the highpressure pump (fig. 3;133). Possibly oil has been

lost during transport. Fill if necessary with good quality oil (SAE 85-90) through

the black fillercap. The level has to be between the top of the oilglass and the

red dot on it.

4.0 OPERATING

Fill the fuel tank (fig. 1;191) with diesel oil or domestic fuel oil. The machine is built

for optional detergent usage, from:

• internal tank:

this tank (fig. 3;169) and the fillercap are placed under the hood.

• separate detergent can:

place the suction hose in the separate detergent can.

Refill detergent tank if necessary. Use exclusively good cleansing agents, in liquid

form to prevent blockages and sludging in hoses, pipes, tubecoil etc. If powder

detergent is needed, mix them thoroughly with (hot) water and then use them in
