FLAT CAKE or
FOCACCIA PIE
Ingredients
300 gr. dough ready to use
oregano
3 garlic cloves
a tablespoon of olive oil
salt
pepper
Preparation
1. Pre-heat a roasting pan of 24 cm.
diameter with low borders for 7 minutes.
2. Knead shortly the dough, lay it on an a
heavy grease-proof water paper sheet and
with lightly greasy hands or using a rolling-
pin, spread it in order to obtain a thin disk
measuring the same diameter than the
roasting pan.
3. Grease its surface with very little oil.
Thinly slice garlic cloves.
4. Put the disk into the pan and cook in the
oven set on PIE function for 4 minutes.
5. Turn the focaccia upside-down and
hammer the pieces of garlic cloves in the
dough random. Dust with a lot of oregano,
sprinkle with a teaspoon of olive oil, add salt,
pepper and put again in the oven for other 11
minutes. Serve hot.

POP-CORN
Ingredients
250 gr. Indian corn
olive oil or seed oil
salt (or sugar)
Preparation
1. Pour a spoonful of corn grains in a lightly
greasy pan with high borders and large
enough to contain grains in one layer. Cover
the pan and put it in the oven set at maximum
heat for about 5-6 minutes. After 5 to 6
minutes grains will be transformed.
2. Dust with a pinch of salt or sugar
according to preferences.
4. Remove the film and put in the oven one
round loaf at a time. Cook in the oven on PIE
mode for 6 minutes (each round loaf). The
bread is cooked when it is elastic and dry. Let
the two round loafs rest on a grate and let
them cool before serving
NOTE: Using microwaves bread cooks
much quicker than in a traditional oven.
Moreover,replacing whit flour with
wholemeal you will have brown bread
