Viewing JPG Picture Files on Your TV
You Can Play Slide-Shows of JPG Images Stored on CD-R/RW Discs
When you insert a disc containing JPG files, the player will launch the JPG Navigator, an on-screen program that
lets you easily select and play JPG files one at a time or in Slide-Show mode. JPG Picture files must be saved
with the .JPG extension. Example: “Vacation1.jpg”

Navigation Buttons
A list of buttons that are functional in the JPG Navigator screen.
Press ENTER to Begin a Slide-Show
Use the ARROW keys to select the folder or file you want to
display. Then, press ENTER to begin Slide-Show mode. With
the Repeat Mode set to NORMAL (default), all files will be
displayed in the order they appear on the disc for about 3
seconds each. When all files have been displayed, the Slide-
Show will end. By using the REPEAT 1/ALL button, however,
you can setup continuous play by repeating a folder or the
entire disc - see pg 24 for details on Repeat Mode.
You can also use the PROG button to select a different
Program Mode, which determines how the files are organized
and displayed. This functionality is the same as with MP3 files
and is covered on pg 24.

Select a Transition (Wipe) with PROG
While the Slide-Show is in progress, you can choose from a
wide variety of transitions, or “wipes” that will animate the
change from one picture to another. Use the PROG key to
cycle through the transition modes listed to the right.
Press MENU to Exit the Slide-Show
You can press the MENU/PBC button at any time while to
exit the Slide-Show and return to the JPG navigator.
Alternatively, to view a thumbnail summary of all files in the
current directory, press STOP.

More JPG Functions
Displaying Thumbnail Images
During Slide-Show mode, you can press the STOP button to view thumbnail images of all
files in the current directory. Navigate with the ARROW keys and press ENTER to display
a file. Move between pages with SKIP NEXT/PREVIOUS buttons.
Rotating and Flipping Images
While a picture is displayed, you can Rotate the image by pressing the LEFT/RIGHT
ARROW keys. To Flip the image vertically, press the UP key. To Flip Horizontally, press
DOWN. To resume the Slide-Show, press PLAY.
Zooming In/Out on an Image
While a picture is displayed, press ZOOM, then to Zoom-In (150-200%) or
to Zoom-Out (75-50%). To Pan the image Up/Down/Left/Right, use the ARROW keys.
