Playing MP3 Files with the MP3 Navigator
Your DVD Player is also a Feature-Packed MP3 Player!
When you insert an MP3 disc, the player will launch the MP3 Navigator, an on-screen program that lets you
easily select and play MP3 files stored on CD-R or CD-RW discs. The MP3 Navigator gives you several options
for MP3 Playback, including Program and Repeat modes.

Choose a Program Mode with the PROG Button
There are three Program Modes available with the MP3
Navigator. With play stopped, press the PROG button to switch
between the Modes:
Normal Mode - Displays files in normal “Directory \ Files”
fashion. Navigate directories with ARROW keys and play files
with the ENTER button. To navigate or select another file
from the menu, you must press STOP first.
File List - Lists only files. All Files on the disc are displayed
in one long list without any directory information.
Program List - This is a special mode that allows you to
define a List of which songs to play. Program List Mode
displays all the files on the disc in one long list to the left.
Simply move through the list and press ENTER on the songs
you wish to add to the Program List on the Right.

Select the Repeat Mode with REPEAT - 1/ALL
The Repeat Modes give you the options to repeat a single file, entire
directory or a whole disc, as well as the option to play a single file and
stop. You select from the following choices by pressing the REPEAT -
1/ALL Button:
Normal - Simply plays the files normally with no Repeat functions
active.
Single - Play only one file. Plays the current track and Stops.
Repeat One - Repeats the current track continuously.
Repeat All - Repeats all tracks on the disc. This option is
available in FILE LIST and PROGRAM LIST Program Modes.
Repeat Folder - Repeats all tracks in the current directory. This
option is available in NORMAL Program Mode.

Navigate to a
File
Use the arrow keys
to select the file you
wish to play.

Quick Tips
MP3 Files must be
saved with the
extension “.MP3”
(upper or lower case)
in order to play
correctly.
You can have a
maximum of 250
Files or Folders.
MP3 Discs must have
a “Closed Session” in
order to play properly.
