RADIO DATA SERVICE (RDS)
Einige FM-Radiosender strahlen neben dem
eigentlichen Programmsignal auch so genannte
RDS-Textmeldungen (Radio Data Service) aus.
Die Sender-ID wird in den ersten acht Zeichen der
unteren Zeile angezeigt. Dieser Text ändert sich in
der Regel nicht. In der oberen Zeile wird dagegen
beschreibender Text angezeigt. Hierbei kann es sich
beispielsweise um das Senderformat oder um den
Titel bzw. Interpreten handeln.
CD-Text
Auf neueren Audio-CDs sind neben dem eigentlichen
Audiomaterial auch beschreibende Texte gespeichert.
Dieser Text wird vom Radio CD-Gerät decodiert und
angezeigt.
ID3-Textinformationen in MP3-Dateien
Aus dem Internet heruntergeladene MP3-Dateien
enthalten unter Umständen ID3-Textinformationen.
Solche Informationen können beim Erstellen von
MP3-Dateien aus unkomprimierten Audioquellen mit
in die Dateien eingebettet werden. Wenn MP3-Dateien
ID3-Textinformationen enthalten, werden diese vom
Radio CD-Gerät angezeigt. Andernfalls wird der
jeweilige Dateiname ausgegeben.
Auswählen des Textanzeigemodus
Das JOG-Menü verfügt über separate RDS- und
CD-Textoptionen, mit denen Sie festlegen können,
ob der jeweilige Text als Bildlauftext, statischer Text
oder überhaupt nicht angezeigt werden soll.
