USE
BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Make sure the appliance is switched off and disconnected from the mains.
2. Place the humidifier on a flat surface at least 60 cm from the floor level and 10 cm from the wall. We do not
recommend placing the humidifier on expensive furniture.
3. Refiling the water tank:
- Lift the water tank from the base upwards and remove it.
- Remove the lid from the water tank and pour fresh cold water into it.
DO NOT FILL THE WATER TANK WITH WARM OR HOT WATER, IT MAY CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE WATER TANK
- After filling the water tank, replace the lid and put the water tank back on the base. Water flows automatically into
the base of the appliance.
4. Plug the power cord into the wall socket again.
OPERATION GUIDELINES
A. Power button
Press the on/off button (A) to switch on the appliance, the indicator (A) lights up. The LED
display will show the current ambient air humidity level. The display shows a humidity
level between 30% and 80%. If “LO” appears in the display, the ambient air humidity level
is below 30%. If “HI” appears in the display, the ambient air humidity level is above 80%.
Press the on/off button (A) again to turn off the appliance. All functions will stop except
for the fan, which will continue to operate for about 15 seconds. If the water tank is empty,
the appliance will beep and a red light will appear on the on/off button. “E1“ also appears
on the display. In this case, the device does not emit any steam. Add water to the water
tank (4).
B. Night light/sleep mode on/off button
Pressing the light/sleep button (B) once will turn on the light. Colours will change
gradually. Pressing the button a second time will fix the selected colour which will not
change furthermore. Pressing the button a third time will activate the Sleep mode. “SP”
appears on the display for about 5 seconds. In the sleep mode, the appliance operates for
8 hours - 3 hours with medium steam intensity and then 5 hours with low steam intensity.
The humidity level is controlled at 60%. If the humidity exceeds this value, the appliance
stops. It starts again when the air humidity drops below 60%. Pressing the timer button
(D), the humidity level setting (E) or the mist intensity setting (F) will interrupt the sleep
mode.
Pressing the light/sleep mode button the fourth time will turn off the sleep mode.
C. Hot steam setting button
Pressing the steam setting button (C) you can change the steam temperature between
hot and cold. When hot steam is selected, the indicator light (C) lights up and the PTC
heater heats the water in the base to counteract bacteria.
Notice: If the hot steam function is on before entering the sleep mode, it will still be active
after entering the sleep mode, but the light will be off. Only the sleep mode indicator light
is on.
Warning: Never touch the PTC heater (10) until it has cooled down! In case of burns
consult a doctor.
