Cleaning and Storage
PLEASE NOTE!!
■ Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads to clean the
device. These can damage the surface.
• Take the used attachments off the main unit (3) (see the “Attaching / Removing At-
tachments” chapter).
• Wipe down the device and the accessories if necessary with a slightly damp cloth and
a little mild detergent if required. Then wipe down fully with a dry cloth.
• Allow all parts to dry completely before you put them away.
• Store the device in a clean, dry place that is protected from sunlight and is not acces-
sible to children and animals.
Troubleshooting
If the device does not work properly, check whether you are able to rectify the problem
yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps that are listed, contact the cus-
tomer service department.
Do not attempt to repair an electrical device yourself!
Problem Possible cause / solution
The device does not
work. The control
lamp (9) does not
light up.
• Is the mains plug inserted correctly in the plug socket? Cor-
rect the fi t of the mains plug.
• Is the plug socket defective? Try another plug socket.
• Check the fuse of the mains connection.
Unusual noises
• Are the upper ventilation slots (2) covered up or blocked?
Free up the ventilation slots.
The device switches
off suddenly.
• Are the upper ventilation slots covered up or blocked? Free
up the ventilation slots.
• Was the device switched on more than 6 hours ago? The
integrated timer switches off the device after 6 hours.
Odour produced
• You might notice a slight odour caused by production res-
idues the fi rst time you use the device. However, this is
harmless and will cease as you use the device.
