8.1. Verstellen van de
bestuurdersstoel
De zitpositie kan worden aangepast
met de handgreep aan de zijkant van de
bestuurdersstoel. Trek deze hendel omhoog
om de stoel naar voren of naar achteren te
schuiven. Als u de stoel naar voren schuift,
heeft u ook toegang tot de achterbank of kan
een passagier de Carver betreden.
Wanneer de stoel zich in de juiste positie
bevindt, laat u de hendel los en wordt de stoel
vastgezet. U hoort een klik wanneer de stoel
vergrendelt.
waarschuwing
Pas de stoel alleen aan als de Carver stilstaat.
De stoel verstellen terwijl de Carver beweegt
is potentieel gevaarlijk. Controleer altijd of de
stoel is vergrendeld. Een ontgrendelde stoel
kan ook tot gevaarlijke situaties leiden.
waarschuwing
Wanneer u de bestuurdersstoel in de veilige
positie duwt, moet u ervoor zorgen dat de
passagier zijn voeten weg houdt van de stoel.
8.3. Kinderen als passagiers
De Nederlandse wetgeving bepaalt dat
bestuurders en passagiers van een Carver-
klasse voertuig gebruik moeten maken
van de beschikbare veiligheidsgordels. Alle
passagiers jonger dan 18 jaar met een lengte
van minder dan 1,35 meter moeten gebruik
maken van een kinderveiligheidssysteem
dat is goedgekeurd met het juiste
kwaliteitskeurmerk. Volg de instructies die
bij het kinderzitje zijn geleverd zorgvuldig
op. Vraag bij twijfel de fabrikant van het
kinderzitje om advies. Het is verboden
om meer passagiers te vervoeren dan
veiligheidsgordels toestaan.

Vervoer nooit twee kinderen op de
achterbank, er is maar één veiligheidsgordel.
