7.1 Pedalen
De Carver heeft 2 voetpedalen: links bevindt
zich het rempedaal en rechts bevindt zich
het gaspedaal, beiden pedalen worden met
de rechtervoet van de bestuurder bediend. De
Carver is uitgerust met 2 elektromotoren die
beide worden geactiveerd bij het indrukken
van het gaspedaal
7.2 Remmen
7.2.1 Rempedaal
De Carver is uitgerust met schijfremmen op
alle wielen die allemaal worden geactiveerd
bij het indrukken van het rempedaal.
Houd er rekening mee dat de remmen op de
Carver niet bekrachtigd zijn en dat er geen
ABS-systeem is geïnstalleerd. Lees de rij-
instructies in paragraaf 3 voor remmen onder
gladde omstandigheden.
7.2.2 Handrem
Trek altijd de handrem volledig aan voordat
u uw Carver verlaat. Om de handrem in
te schakelen, trekt u de handrem volledig
omhoog en drukt u de knop bovenop de
hendel in de vergrendelde positie. Wanneer
de handrem is geactiveerd, gaat het
indicatielampje op het dashboard branden.
Een ingeschakelde handrem voorkomt dat de
Carver van zijn parkeerpositie rolt.
De handrem kan worden ontgrendeld door de
knop bovenop de hendel in de ontgrendelde
positie te drukken en voorzichtig naar u toe te
trekken totdat u voelt dat het slot ontgrendelt.
De handrem kan dan worden neergelaten
en het indicatielampje dooft wanneer deze
volledig is losgelaten.
waarschuwing
Probeer nooit met de Carver te rijden terwijl
de handrem is aangetrokken.
Omdat de Carver een elektrisch voertuig
zonder versnellingen is, moet u altijd de
handrem gebruiken wanneer u op een
hellend oppervlak parkeert
