Raccordements stéréo bi-câbles
Le schéma ci-dessous montre le 840W raccordé à un 840E bi-câble et
à une paire de haut-parleurs.
IMPORTANT ! La bande en métal raccordant les terminaux basse
fréquence aux terminaux haute fréquence doit être retirée pour un
système de bi-câblage.
Important : Dans cette configuration, le 840W doit être défini en mode
Stéréo.

Raccordements avancés
A l’instar du mode stéréo avec un câblage simple (équilibré ou non), d’autres modes opérationnels sont possibles, stéréo bi-câble, mono bi-amplifié,
mono pont…
Dans tous les exemples ci-après, des raccordements équilibrés ou non équilibrés peuvent être utilisés, le principe est le même pour chaque type de
connexion. Pour simplifier, nous ne vous montrerons que les raccordements équilibrés pour chaque exemple.
Synchronisme et alimentation (Marche/Veille)
Lorsque vous activez/désactivez le mode Veille, le préamplificateur
840E d’Azur peut (si vous le souhaitez) commander automatiquement
le 840W, s’il est connecté, via les prises de bus de contrôle (les prises
du bus de contrôle sont de couleur orange sur le panneau arrière des
modèles Azur compatibles). Pour que cette option fonctionne, les unités
doivent être reliées entre elles via des câbles RCA/phono. Aucun
réglage supplémentaire n’est nécessaire.
Débrancher le bus de contrôle du 840E pour le raccorder à celui du
840W. Vous pouvez continuer la chaîne sur d’autres modèles Azur s'il
est nécessaire de synchroniser d’autres unités (se référer au manuel du
840E pour obtenir davantage d’informations étant donné que cette
manipulation nécessite un paramétrage spécifique).

Important : Le 840E dispose d’un déclencheur Out qui peut aussi être
utilisé pour commander le mode Marche/veille du 840W si nécessaire.
Cette procédure consiste uniquement à raccorder les deux unités entre
elles (en utilisant un mini-jack de 3,5 mm ou un mono de 3,5 mm dans
ce cas).
Le bus de contrôle est la méthode conseillée lorsque vous utilisez un
840E ou un autre équipement de Cambridge Audio muni d’un bus de
contrôle In/Out.
Le déclencheur In/Out peut être utile si le 840W (et le 840E) doit être
commandé depuis un autre équipement qui dispose d’un déclencheur
Out (Installation personnalisée et/ou systèmes multi-room…).
