Connessioni HDMI
L’HDMI (High-Definition Multi-Media Interface) è una connessione digitale
in grado di supportare sia caratteristiche audio che video all’interno di un
solo cavo. Il trasferimento digitale diretto di video e il supporto di vari tipi
di contenuto video ad alta definizione la rendono il tipo di connessione
migliore in termini di qualità delle immagini.
L’uscita DVI può essere supportata semplicemente utilizzando adattatori
del tipo da DVI a HDMI, grazie alla compatibilità esistente fra questi due
tipi di connessioni. Quando si utilizza DVI, soltanto il video viene trasferito
al TV/Monitor. Per poter ricevere audio e decodificare il suono surround
ecc, occorre effettuare un collegamento audio digitale coassiale (SPDIF)
o ottico (TOSlink) dal 540D V2 al ricevitore AV.
Considerando che l’HDMI è in grado di supportare sia audio che video
digitale, l’HDMI può essere utilizzato per connettersi a ricevitori AV che
supportano questa funzione. Se il proprio ricevitore AV è in grado di
ricevere audio tramite l’HDMI, si richiede soltanto un cavo*.
*Se il proprio ricevitore AV è in grado di passare all’HDMI ma non di
ricevere audio in questa modalità, occorre utilizzare anche un cavo
SPDIF o TOSlink supplementare.
