Either:
• Press the RED PHONE button to stop
recording. Your recording is played
back.
Or if you want to add a concluding
statement
• Press the STOP button on the base
station. The voice says “Recording
concluding announcement”.
• Speak your concluding announcement
through the handset.
• Press the STOP button on the base
station to stop recording. Your
outgoing messages are played back.
To hear your outgoing messages
You can play back your outgoing
announcements at any time.
At the base station:
• Press the GREETING button.
The current setting is announced.
• Press the PLAY button. Your outgoing
message is played back.
To delete an outgoing message
At the base station:
• Press the GREETING button.
The voice tells you the current setting.
• Press the or buttons to select
the announcement you wish to delete.
• Press the DELETE button to delete the
announcement.
Recording times
The total recording time available on your
Diverse 3016 answering machine is 15
minutes.
Maximum message length for incoming
and outgoing messages is 2 minutes 50
seconds.
Recording stops automatically if a pause of
longer than 2 seconds is detected.
Please note
If you delete your Announcement Only
message, your answering machine cannot
be switched on until you either record a new
one or set one of the other outgoing
messages.
If you delete your own recorded
Announcement 1 or 2, the pre-recorded
message is automatically reinstated.
Mains power failure
If the mains power fails, your outgoing
messages, recorded messages and memos
will be saved. However, you will need to
reset the time and date.
In the event of any mains power
interruption, you must unplug your
Diverse 3016 telephone line cord from the
wall socket, otherwise your other telephones
will not ring. Once power has been
restored, plug your Diverse 3016 cord back
into the telephone wall socket.
