1. Mida la distancia entre los distintos agujeros del botón y selec-

cione el número de puntada apropiado mediante el selector de

puntada.

2. Instale el prensatelas para el cosido de botones.

3. Coloque la placa de zurcido en la placa de la aguja.

(Cuando la máquina está equipada con una palanca de alimen-

tación de bajada, baje los ganchos de alimentación colocando la

palanca de alimentación de bajada en la posición hacia arriba).

4. Coloque un botón entre el prensatelas y el tejido, y asegúrese de

que la aguja pase por los agujeros sin picar el botón. Si golpea el

botón véase el 1

paso.

5. Cosa unas 10 puntadas a baja velocidad.

6. Retire el tejido de la máquina. Corte los hilos inferior y superior y

haga un nudo con ambos en el revés del tejido.

1. Misurare la distanza tra i fori del bottone e regolare l’ampiezza del

punto adatta mediante il selettore dei punti.

2. Applicare il piedino per bottoni.

3. Posizionare la placca da rammendo sulla placca dell’ago (se la macchi-

na è equipaggiata con la leva abbassa-trasportatore, abbassare il tra-

sportatore alzando la leva).

4. Inserire il bottone fra il piedino e il tessuto accertandosi che l’ago entri

nei fori senza colpire il bottone. Se il bottone viene colpito, vedere il

punto 1.

5. Eseguire circa 10 punti a bassa velocità.

6. Estrarre il tessuto dalla macchina. Tagliare il filo superiore e inferiore e

legare i capi sul rovescio del tessuto.

I'm a complete notice, and need your help.
I was using my sewing machine and the unit that holds the needle came off the main rod that moves up and down.. There seems to be a tiny alan screw, is that what holds it on the rod? Would need a tiny alan key..
