Para a obtenção de resultados precisos,

é essencial uma posição adequada, ao nível

do coração, para todas as medições de pressão

arterial no pulso.

1. Aperte a braçadeira ao seu pulso esquerdo

(ver ilustração). Certifique-se que a braçadeira (F)

é colocada bem

justa.

Pressione o botão I/0 (B).

2. Coloque-se na posição de medição, como

indicado. Os seus braços devem ficar junto do

corpo. Certifique-se que o aparelho esteja

aproximadamente ao nível do coração.

3a. Quando o aparelho se encontra ao nível ade-

quado de medição, ouve-se um sinal e o mos-

trador exibe um símbolo do coração. Ambos

indicam que atingiu a posição adequada de

medição. A medição começa, então, auto-

maticamente.

3b. Se não se colocou de imediato na posição

adequada de medição, o aparelho vai dar-lhe

essa orientação, através de uma seta no mos-

trador. Os seus braços devem ficar junto ao

corpo, em posição confortável. Mova o seu

antebra

ço para cima ou para baixo (ver ilustra-

ção), na direcção da seta, até ouvir o sinal e

aparecer o símbolo do coração.

Atingiu, então, a posição adequada de medição,

que tem início automaticamente.

Quando se completa a medição, ouve-se de novo

um sinal e a leitura é exibida.
