Medición
Para cualquier medición de la presión arterial
en la muñeca, es esencial mantener la posición
correcta a la altura del corazón para obtener
resultados precisos.
1. Abróchese el medidor en el brazo izquierdo en
la parte más alta de la zona del
gada del antebrazo
(ver dibujo). Asegúrese de que la muñequera (F)
se ajusta bien. Presione el botón I/0 (B).
2. Sitúese en la posición de medición como se
muestra. Sus brazos deben quedar cercanos
al cuerpo. Asegúrese que el dispositivo está a
la altura del corazón.
3a. Cuando el dispositivo está al nivel apropiado
de medición, sonará una señal acústica y la
pantalla mostrará el símbolo de un corazón.
Ambos indican que la postura es la adecuada
para la medición. Llegado este punto, la medición
se iniciará automáticamente.
3b. Si todavía no ha alcanzado la posición adecuada
para la medición, el medidor le guiará mediante
una flecha en la pantalla. Sus brazos deben
permanecer cercanos al cuerpo, reposando
cómodamente. Mueva su antebrazo hacia arriba
y hacia abajo (mire la ilustración) en la dirección
de la flecha, hasta que la señal acústica suene
y el símbolo del corazón aparezca.
En ese momento habrá alcanzado la posición
adecuada para la medición y esta comenzará
automáticamente.
