Note: It is recommended to test the carbon monoxide detector once a month to
ensure that the device is working properly.
8.3 Lock alarm
Heavy vapours or the like can also trigger an alarm. When the alarm signal sounds,
by pressing the "test / hush" buon, the device can be muted for approximately 2
minutes. In this period, the green and the red LEDs blink every 10 seconds and a
beep sounds. The detector will not react any more during these 2 minutes. If the
CO concentraon is sll in the danger zone aer the two minutes have passed,
then the alarm sounds again. If the concentraon sinks to a safe range, then the
device stops the alarm.
8.4 Unlock alarm
To unlock the alarm again, press the "test / hush" buon. The carbon monoxide
detector subsequently will funcon normally again, indicated by the green LED
blinking every 50 seconds and the display showing the current PPM value.
8.5 Saving funcon
If the device detects an increased CO value and the alarm sounds, but nobody
is at home, the device stops the alarm as soon as the value is back within the
normal range. The highest measured CO concentraon is now displayed on the
display every 15 seconds, the device beeps twice and the red LED blinks. Press the
"test / hush" key for deleng the stored maximum value. The device subsequently
returns to the normal operang mode.
8.6 Low baery
The carbon monoxide detector recognises when the baery voltage is too low
and the baeries should be exchanged. The red LED blinks every 40 seconds and
an alert beep sounds. A baery symbol is displayed on the display. While the
baery status is low, the device sll funcons faultlessly but the baeries of the
carbon monoxide detector must be exchanged without delay.
